A Salute to our Prince Edward County Grape Growing Partners
Sunday, September 25
All Day
Rosehall Run Vineyards, 1243 Greer Road, Wellington
Admission: Free
Refreshments Available
Rosehall Run will release 3 highly anticipated wines at TASTE! on September 24:
2009 Pinot Noir Cuvee County
2009 Chardonnay Cuvee County
2008 Cabernet Franc Cold Creek
Each year, Rosehall Run partners with select local grape growers to produce these exceptional wines. Learn about the diverse group of individuals that have set down roots in the County. From one small acre of pinot noir in Hillier to a four acre planting of some of the best quality Cabernet Franc grown just across the street, Rosehall Run’s viticultural team led by winemaker Dan Sullivan assists with the daily care and maintenance of their precious investments. With the Cuvée County Series, Dan has taken fruit from the Rosehall Run Vineyards and contributions from these local growers to consistently create award-winning VQA Prince Edward County wines.
“The Cuvée County line of Rosehall Run allows winemaker/owner Dan Sullivan the opportunity to source fruit from all over the County and blend to make the best wine possible… Light in colour, the nose proves to have the same attributes: light with sour cherry and hints of spice. The mouth shows off red berries along with red and sour cherry punched up with good acidity on the lovely sour cherry-iced tea lingering finish.” Michael Pinkus, ontariowinereview.com
Join us Sunday, September 25 as we host these growers and learn a little more about their stories and the 2011 Harvest.
For more information, please contact Lynn Sullivan 613-399-1183 lynn.sullivan@rosehallrun.com |
